Emotes (also known as Social Emotes) are Cosmetic Items in SMITE that allow players to play personalized animations, from greetings and dances to exclusive special ones for each god. All emotes are used through the Voice Guided System menu, with them being located under the "VE - Emote" section. Additionally, once unlocked, the Wave and Clap emotes will automatically play after using certain voice commands (For example, using VVGH - "Hi!" will play the wave emote).

These emotes can be unlocked with Gems Gems or Favor Favor, but they can also be acquires from treasure chests or as a reward from events. The Emote Chest grants a random emote for 20 Gems per roll. Every god has a clap and wave emotes, with several gods having some additional ones.

Certain god skins come with an additional unique special emotes. These emote are executed by using "Special 2" and will usually display animations that continue playing while moving, accompanied with visual and sound effects.
