The Patch badges used to illustrate SMITE's update notes have evolved and changed over the course of the game's development. The first update to have one of these was SMITE Version 2.17.3071, released on November 3, 2015.

Season 2[ | ]

The first season to feature one of these, it began at the tail end of the season.

Season 3[ | ]

The layout was slightly changed, and the badges would go on to be more stylized with time.

Season 4[ | ]

This is the season where badges changed to display a large render of a god, skin or some other feature of that update.

Season 5[ | ]

Several minor changes to the format were done through the season in an effort to phase out named updates.

Season 6[ | ]

This is the season where they would change plans and atempt to move away from numbered updates (they would end up maintaining the numbering but only on the patch notes), sticking to named patches. This is the format that'd continue to be used all the way to the end of season 9.
