The Lore of SMITE is told through several chapters in different story arcs, which are usually featured in events.

Story

Main Storyline

This is the game's plot, told through several arcs. The current timeline is as follows:

Non-Canon Main Storyline

The free comic SMITE: Battleground of the Gods gave insight on why the gods were fighting each other. This storyline was abandoned and replaced with the Pantheon War storyline.
The CCG spin-off Hand of the Gods briefly continued the 'The Pantheon War' storyline through its tutorial missions:

After Zeus' assassination, his soul was retrieved by Anubis. While trying to remember what happened to him, he is attacked by Arachne, sent there by Hades who wishes him to stay dead. He is saved by Athena, who tells him that Ares invaded Egypt believing their pantheon responsible for his death. While fleeing from Hades' forces they encounter and defeat Medusa. Zeus then decides to return to Olympus, with Anubis warning him it has fallen into chaos and that there is nothing left for him there. Athena suggests her father to seek her allies in the wilderness but he refuses, stating that he 'must see home first'. This storyline was abandoned and replaced with the story from the Odyssey 2018 event, The Fall of War.

Side Storylines

Besides the main story, there are also some threads of lore and miscellaneous bits of information that don't fit within the overarching story.

There was also a comic made to promote Ullr's The Survivor skin, The Last Survivor: Page 1 - Page 2 - Page 3 - Page 4 - Page 5 - Page 6 - Page 7 - Page 8
