The Welcome Pass is a permanent event in SMITE designed to introduce new players to unlockable cosmetic rewards and encourage them to engage more with the game. It was introduced with SMITE Version 9.2.6981, the patch released on Februrary 22, 2022.
During the Welcome Pass, players will earn rewards for each match completed (max of 20). Matches that count toward these rewards can be of any game mode under either the Normal or Ranked tabs (with the exception of Match of the Day). The event begins when a player logs into the game for the first time since the update was released, or when a brand new player finishes the tutorial. From that point, the player will have 30 days to complete their Welcome Pass.
